After attending Saver Academy, these two completed quite a few successful saves, landing them on Dr. Moraine’s radar. Which is how they found their way to the Pomm Islands!

Though many companion Beasts are able to speak human language, Tolstoy cannot. Regardless, Wren seems to understand his partner completely. Which speaks to their strong connection.

The Lead Saver of the Pomm Islands, and her Companion Beast. These two have been a team for twenty years, since Moraine was just a teenager!

Ottoline hails from the Pomm Islands, while Dr. Moraine comes from a small coastal town on the main continent.

Together, and with the help of the Islanders, they built Moraine Laboratories to be the top research facility in the Pomm Islands, and one of the best in the world!

They may be the Pomm Islands’ largest Beast, but they’re also one of its gentlest. With their ribbon like tendrils, coral cows can sense changes in the quality of the ocean water, making them adept caretakers and protectors of the Pomm Islands’ unique coral forests. According to legend, these coral forests may be connected to the very life-force of the islands.

These mean spirited creatures are somewhat of a mystery to Wren and the gang for now, but there’s no doubt we will learn more about them in future volumes!
